As a cannabis company committed to social equity and inclusion, downtown FLWR is excited to be a part of Jersey City’s efforts to promote diversity and inclusion in the cannabis industry. We believe that the cannabis industry has the potential to be a powerful force for positive change, and we are committed to being a responsible and ethical participant in this industry.
To support Jersey City’s social equity program, downtown FLWR will engage with the local community in Jersey City to ensure that our business is inclusive and beneficial to everyone in the community. We will work closely with local organizations and community leaders to identify ways in which we can be of service, and we will prioritize hiring from the local community to ensure that the economic benefits of the industry are shared equitably. In addition, downtown FLWR will prioritize hiring individuals from communities that have been disproportionately impacted by drug enforcement policies.
As a cannabis company, we believe that it is our responsibility to be a positive force for change in the communities in which we operate. We are committed to working with Jersey City and other communities to promote diversity and inclusion in the cannabis industry, and to ensure that the benefits of this industry are shared equitably among all members of the community.
We will also provide technical assistance to social equity applicants seeking cannabis licenses, and work with them to ensure that they have the tools and resources they need to succeed in the industry.
